Los Cabos
Hospitality Industry

Welcome to LodgingGuide's hospitality industry listings for the Los Cabos area.

Los Cabos, “the capes,” are the two towns at the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula of Mexico, which juts between the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez. On the Pacific side, Cabo San Lucas is regarded by many as the marlin fishing capital of the world. Its rock formations and endless stretches of beach, culminating in El Arco, a natural rock arch at the junction of the two seas, mark the ragged end of the continental land mass. A favorite of pirates, who rested here and found some protection among these natural formations, today’s visitors also can find many places to conceal themselves for a few magic moments from everything but the open sea. In addition to its unique natural beauty, Cabo San Lucas also offers the entire budget spectrum of hotels and resorts, nightclubs and mariachi bands that keep the Marina dancing around the clock, assisted by the world’s best Margueritas served everywhere. In contrast, the town of San Jose del Cabo, along the calmer Sea of Cortez, is on the less rugged of the two coasts, where Baja has kept its original 18th century mission town architecture and ambiance well preserved. Both towns are linked by the Sierra de la Laguna chain which descend on either side to miles of soft, grassy desert dotted with palm trees and cactus, making Los Cabos a premier golf destination, in addition to its many other unique and magical qualities.
